Last week, The AWT Foundation, in collaboration with the Salvation Army, presented the Employer Resource Fair—an event designed to connect HR professionals with a diverse network of service providers. From mental health services to healthcare and more, this fair brings together local experts and community organizations to support the well-being of your workforce. By fostering stronger connections between employers and service agencies, we aim to equip businesses with the tools and partnerships they need to build a thriving, resilient workplace.

Birthright Lake Inc
Birthright Lake offers free, confidential support to pregnant women and families with young children facing financial or personal difficulties. Their services include providing essentials like diapers, clothing, and baby supplies, as well as community referrals and emotional support.
Extended Housing, Inc.
Extended Housing, Inc. works to prevent and end homelessness for individuals in Lake County with serious mental illness. By providing supportive housing and mental health services, they help clients live as independently as possible. Their programs offer rental subsidies, housing support, and outreach services to those at risk of homelessness.
Forbes House
Forbes House is Lake County’s only domestic violence shelter, offering 24/7 crisis support. It provides survivors with safe shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, and other essential services to help them rebuild their lives free from abuse
Hope Chest
Hope Chest provides clothing, shoes, and household goods to families in need across Lake County. Their goal is to help families meet basic needs during times of crisis
Ivy Women’s Center
Ivy Women’s Center offers free, confidential services to women facing unplanned pregnancies. Located in Mentor, the center provides pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, STD testing, and counseling to help women make informed decisions in a compassionate and supportive environment
Lake and Geauga Habitat for Humanity 
Lake and Geauga Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to providing affordable homeownership opportunities for low-income families. By partnering with volunteers, businesses, and future homeowners, they build and renovate homes, empowering families with a safe place to live.
Lake County ADAMHS Board
The Lake County Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board plans, funds, and monitors mental health and substance use services in Lake County. They work with local service providers to ensure individuals receive the care and support they need to lead healthier lives.
Lake County Council on Aging
