AWT STEM Days Overview Information
WHAT: AWT STEM Days are day camps that connect Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) concepts to local careers throughout Lake County. Campers will complete hands-on STEM projects to engage creativity and problem-solving.

Putting the A in STEAM
Looking for a fun and creative way to explore STEAM this winter? Join us for the MLK STEAM Day at AWT!
Open to ages 9–14, this exciting event combines art and science as students create stunning Stained-Glass Snowflakes. Participants will learn the art of soldering, work with copper foil, and use stained-glass paint to design their own unique snowflake masterpieces.
Looking for a fun and innovative way to explore STEM and manufacturing?
Open to ages 9–14, this hands-on event combines creativity and technology as students design and build their own light-up acrylic signs. Participants will work with EL wire and acrylic, learning how to blend art and engineering to create a unique glowing masterpiece.
