Summer STEM Camp Overview Information
WHAT: AWT Summer STEM Camps are two, two-week-long day camps. Each camp connects Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) concepts to local careers throughout Northeast Ohio. Campers complete hands-on STEM projects to showcase to parents and local businesses.
WHO: 5th-8th grade students
WHERE: AWT Transformation Training Center (8980 Tyler Blvd, Mentor, OH, 44060)
WHEN: One two-week session in June and one two-week session in July. Camp is held from 9 AM to 3 PM. The last Friday of camp is the Celebration Lunch, and camp ends at 12 PM.
Session 1: June 8th-19th, 2026: AWT STEM Camp
AWT Summer STEM Camp will give students opportunities for hands-on experiments and projects that cover a range of STEM topics. Some of the projects will include solar cars, binary coding, and soldering. Students will also get the chance to visit local manufacturing companies and identify connections between their camp projects and the companies they tour.
Session 2: July 6th-17, 2026: AeroMFG Camp
AeroMfg STEM Camp will be full of projects with a focus on aerospace and aeronautics, and will include field trips to local companies serving the aerospace industry! Some projects will include a light-up model solar system, flying rockets, and moon sand.
Cost: $450 per camper, per two-week camp session, scholarships available

STEM Camps are operated by the Alliance for Working Together Foundation in partnership with local manufacturers and our community partners.
