Ohio’s TechCred Program gives employers an option for receiving direct financial assistance for upskilling employees.

Credentials currently offered by AWT include:
TechCred Credential: CNC Machinist
Learners gain hands‑on experience with CNC machine operation, G‑code programming, offsets, tooling, CAD/CAM, and lathe functions, enabling them to set up, program, and run CNC equipment for manufacturing applications.
AWT requirement: Individuals must take Intro to CNC Milling and Intro to CNC Turning to complete a CNC Machinist certification for TechCred. The total cost of these classes is $2,200. TechCred is currently reimbursing $1,000 per person, per credential.
