Career Expo connects students and educators with local manufacturers.
The Lake County Chambers and AWT partner again to host the 12th Annual Lake County Think Manufacturing Expo on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at North High School with Presenting Sponsor Swagelok. The Think Manufacturing Career Expo continues to grow each year. This event allows young adults to learn firsthand how they can enter a rewarding and viable career after high school.
Manufacturers can sponsor the Expo and register to exhibit. Schools should register to bring students to the Expo. During the event, students speak directly with manufacturers to learn about the companies, culture, community impact, and open positions to start a rewarding career. Students can use these conversations to establish pathways to internships, part-time, and full-time employment.
The Expo runs from 8:30 AM to noon. Sessions rotate school groups through a panel discussion with manufacturers and meeting companies on the Expo floor.
